Who We Are

 We are people of faith who recognize that we are all connected;  made by one Creator who is our source.  We also believe that it is essential to stay connected to that source in order to live a truly prosperous and successful life.  If the Source of all Creation was the ocean and we were water set aside in a bucket on the shore, we would have no power but  once we were poured back into the ocean flowing with the Almighty, we would be unstoppable.  We know that our strength is increased through unity.  Our power comes from alignment with our Almighty Lord God, Jehovah, El Shaddai, El Elyon, Adonai, Yahweh, El Olam, Elohim, Qanna, Yhwh.

PERFECT VISION LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM

 Program Overview:
 

Although there are various programs that address the most urgent needs of food, shelter, and safety. We at Via Spirit believe a more comprehensive approach is needed in order to achieve lasting change. We believe changing minds, lives, and legacies begins with vision. The ability to envision the life one desires is the first step in creating it. Unfortunately for most, it's difficult to envision something they've never experienced. Being in opulent spaces; interacting with positive and productive people; seeking solutions and peaceful outcomes; feeling physically and mentally healthy and strong; giving generously of time, talent, and treasure with no expectation of personal profit. This will become the norm for these students once they've completed our Perfect Vision Life Skills Program. There is no other program like this.

Via Spirit's Perfect Vision Life Skills Program provides “Soup to Nuts” comprehensive instruction and support in breathtakingly beautiful properties that we believe will serve as the catalyst for our students envisioning a better life. In addition to receiving training and support in the above-mentioned areas of concentration, Perfect Vision Life Skills Program participants will live in some of the most luxurious and palatial homes imaginable.

We want our students to view employment as more than a means of survival but an opportunity for growth and expansion.  Taking another step towards what will one day be their life’s work.

Our Perfect Vision Program Participants are required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week from which they will pay 15% of their salary for housing, food, and sundries and 15% for savings (Total 30%). Employment is guaranteed by Perfect Vision Life Skills LLC and Liv Life Beautifully LLC.  This 30% along with various private and federal grants will be used toward the purchase of the student’s residential property upon successful completion of the prerequisite program modules.

Comprehensive Life Skills Training which include:  Vocational, Academic, Entrepreneurial, Pre-Employment, Health & Nutrition, Fitness & Athletics, Social Emotional Learning (SEL),  Self-Awareness & Self-Discipline, Spirituality & Mindfulness, Arts & Culture, Creative Expression, Global Preparedness, Community Integration, Financial Literacy, Employment, and Property Ownership.  

Our students will participate in one of three tiers of our Perfect Vision Life Skills Program.

Tier One:  Residential Students-These students will live at a Via Spirit In Totum Residential Facility

while completing all required Perfect Vision Life Skills Program modules.

Tier Two:  Non-Residential Students-These students must also complete all required Perfect Vision  Life Skills Program modules.             

Tier Three:  Intellectually Disabled Students-These students will receive daily services at Via Spirit   In Totum’s Residential Facility but won't live there.  These students are clients of the Office Of Persons With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and  will receive  Job/ Vocational training, Pre-employment training, Supported employment placement, Community Pre-Vocational Training, and Community Habilitation Services.  As well as Day Programs teaching self- advocacy, health, hygiene, social skills  development, fitness & nutrition, volunteerism, and a variety of disciplines that make it possible to live more independent and fulfilling lives.  

Although they are not required to complete all of the Perfect Vision modules, they are    expected to participate in those courses indicated in their Individual Service Plan (ISP) as written by their OPWDD Care/Service Coordinator

Via Spirit In Totum plans regular get togethers through our Winners' Circle Respite Program.  It's one night a week when our young adults can kick back and leave the stress of their daily challenges behind them.  We eat great food, play games, have inspirational conversations, and gain knowledge in conflict resolution, social-emotional skills, team building and collaborations.
